Deontay Wilder has stated in an interview with Fight Hype that he still believes Tyson Fury had loaded gloves in his fights. And is a cheater.
When asked in the interview if Wilder felt he would ever have a friendship with Fury. Wilder states “Nah, never, because I know the truth behind that. I don’t condone cheating and s*** like that. I know that. No matter what people say”.
The former WBC heavyweight champions went on to say. “People say if he did something like this then why did you not go to the authorities? Why the f*** would I go to the authorities? I had the opportunity to put my hands on him. The possibility of killing him and making millions doing it”.
Wilder also did not rule out a fourth fight with Fury. While unlikely this is still not impossible given that Andy Ruiz Jr v Luiz Ortiz and Deontay Wilder v Robert Helenius have been tabbed as semi-final eliminators for the WBC crown. The winner of Wilder v Helenius will fight Andy Ruiz Jr for a shot at Fury’s WBC belt.
