Conor Benn tests positive for Clomifene ahead of Eubank Jr fight

Conor Benn has failed a drug test ahead of Saturday night’s showdown with Chris Eubank Jr, the daily mail has exclusively reported. According to the mail online Benn returned an adverse finding for Clomifene, a banned substance usually used to treat infertility in women but that can also increase testosterone in men.

The substance is prohibited by the world anti-doping agency. According to the mail, it is understood Benn’s test was carried out by VADA (Voluntary Anti-Doping Association). Eddie Hearn, Benn’s promotor has issued a statement on the issue:
