It is no secret that Carl Froch loves to remind everyone that he boxed at Wembley stadium in front of 80,000 fans in 2014. Which at the time, was a record-breaking crowd.
The joke came about when Carl Froch conducted a cringe-worthy interview with Floyd Mayweather, ahead of Mayweather v Pacquiao. Carl Froch awkwardly tried to make the interview about himself and his achievements rather than focus the interview on Mayweather.
In a hilarious moment, captured by Pro Boxing Fans this week. Carl Froch is seen with current heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk. Carl Froch tries to pull out the joke one more time and asks Usyk “do you know how many people I boxed in front of at Wembley stadium”?
This caused a confused look from Usyk who didn’t seem to have a clue what Froch was on about, which in turn created an awkward moment between the two as Usyk looked to try and get away from the former Super Middleweight champion.
